‘Game Of Thrones’ Beats Out ‘CSI’ For Guinness World Record

Comment

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation made history back in March by earning a Guinness World Record for the “Largest Ever TV Drama Simulcast”, when the CSI episode “Kitty” was aired in 171 countries at the same time. However, it was announced earlier this week that Game of Thrones has now replaced CSI in the record books, simultaneously airing the second episode of the show’s fifth season in 173 different countries. CSI held the record for only five weeks before Thrones broke it.
