Petersen: It Was Really A Big To-Do For Us
3 min readEntertainment Weekly spoke to the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation cast about the upcoming series finale, and there will be an article in the edition of EW that hits newsstands this Friday, August 28. Former cast members Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows), Paul Guilfoyle (Jim Brass) and William Petersen (Gil Grissom) are all coming back for the show’s two-hour swan song, and here’s a quote from Petersen about the finale:
I’m so glad we were able to do this, to go and be with the crew and the cast again, to be able to say goodbye. It was really a big to-do for us.
EW also shared a first-look photo featuring Grissom, Catherine and Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox), which you can find at the link above, or check it out below:

TV Line offered its own tidbit about the finale. Michael Beach (ER, Sons of Anarchy) has a role in the TV movie, and he is credited in the “Immortality, Part 1” press release as “Harbor Patrol SD Scinta”. According to TV Line, Scinta is “a Harbor Patrol officer who arrests a boat owner in the port of San Diego.”
Finally, here are a few more tweets and messages that were shared after the previous post, including several “throwback” photos:

That's it. It's a wrap. The end. Thank you CSI for 15 incredible years. And thank you CSI fans! I'm kinda speechless and just feeling really grateful.

This is my 3rd pick. This was defining and times less for our show. I still remember the day we wrote that scene https://t.co/GCX5Tce3y1

This is my 4th pick. This scene was written by David Rambo. One of our most endearing moments at CSI. https://t.co/eMDQRxXomq
