The flagship series offers a new episode this week, featuring a ghost from Finn’s past. Official plot details and cast list can be found after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation gets personal for Finn in “CSI on Fire” this Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

When five bodies are found in what appears to be a meteor site in the middle of the desert, CSI Finlay recognizes one of the casualties, prompting her to revisit her past.

This is the seventeenth directing credit for Jeffrey Hunt, whose previous episodes include last season’s “Dune and Gloom”. “CSI on Fire” was penned by Thomas Hoppe, based on a story from Executive Producer Carol Mendelsohn and Co-Executive Producer Richard Catalani. This is the first writing credit for Hoppe, who is Mendelsohn’s assistant. Mendelsohn has written 50 episodes, most recently for season twelve’s “Willows in the Wind”. This is the twenty-sixth credit for Catalani, who previously wrote “Split Decisions” last season.

The following guest stars will appear in the episode:

  • Larry Mitchell as Officer Mitchell
  • Litha P. Johnson as Female FBI Agent
  • Gonzalo Menendez as Sheriff Anderson
  • Lilli Birdsell as Dr. Monica Warren
  • Brian Van Holt as Captain Mike Robinson
  • Eric Steinberg as Eric Louie
  • Sarah Joy Brown as Marla Louie
  • Scott Lowell as Gavin Pearson
  • Dylan Walsh as Tom Cooley
  • Mark Provencher as Father
  • Cameron Hunt as Son
  • Drew Osborne as Young Tom Cooley
  • Lauran Irion as Young Marla Louie

Larry Mitchell is back as Officer Mitchell. Gonzalo Menendez had a recurring role as Clavo Cruz on CSI: Miami, and his most recent appearance was in the season five episode “Man Down”; he also guest-starred on CSI: New York (“Stuck on You”). Brian Van Holt appeared in the Miami episode “And They’re Offed” during season seven, and Eric Steinberg was in season four’s “Under Suspicion”. Scott Lowell guest-starred in “Air Apparent” during the eighth season of New York.

CSI: New York will not air on Friday. Instead, CBS will fill the primetime schedule with holiday-themed programming.

“CSI on Fire” airs November 21 on CBS.
