‘CSI’ Loses Viewers, Stays Steady In The Key Demo

1 min read

The latest episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, “It Was A Very Good Year”, shared the top spot on Wednesday, October 24. The series pulled in 9.84 million viewers, which is down quite a bit from the previous episode. However, some of the decrease may be due to sports competition, since the crime drama was up against Game 1 of the World Series on Fox, which pulled in 9.44 million viewers during the 10:00pm hour. (Please note that sports ratings are subject to major adjustments.) Nashville (6.58 million) and Chicago Fire (6.30 million) came in third and fourth place, respectively. In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, Game 1 earned a 3.0 rating/8 share for the hour. CSI’s 2.4/6 was steady with last week’s numbers, while Nashville (2.0/6) and Chicago (1.8/5) rounded out the hour.
