‘Trends With Benefits’ & ‘At Risk’ Official Details

The franchise offers two new episodes this week, featuring the power of social media and the attempted murder of a tennis coach. Official plot details and cast lists can be found after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will air “Trends With Benefits” on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, and the team has to use social media to track a killer:

The CSIs are brought in to solve the case of a recently murdered student whose death photo ends up trending on the Internet.

Executive Producer Louis Milito has directed seven previous episodes of CSI, most recently “Ms Willows Regrets” from earlier this season. This is the first writing credit for Script Coordinator Jack Gutowitz. (You can check out his recent interview with CSI Files here.)

Archie Kao and Jon Wellner are reprising established recurring roles in the lab. Brandon Jones was introduced as Charlie Russell in “Brain Doe” earlier this season. Beau Mirchoff guest-starred in two episodes of CSI: Miami, “Grave Young Men” and “Paint It Black”. Paul Blackthorne was in the Miami episode “LA” during the show’s eighth season. Rafi Gavron has also appeared on Miami, during season nine’s “Special Delivery”. Joe Egender guest-starred in the CSI: New York episode “The Box” during season five. The other actors are new to the franchise.

CSI: New York will return on Friday, March 30.

CSI: Miami gets personal for one member of the team in “At Risk” on Sunday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

When a beloved tennis coach is nearly killed, Calleigh discovers a personal connection to the case.

This is the second directing credit for series star Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko), who previously wrote and directed “Hunting Ground” last season. (There is currently no writer listed for “At Risk”.)

Christian Clemenson and Taylor Cole are reprising established recurring roles. Ty Panitz is playing recurring character Austin North, who was previously portrayed by Maxim Knight in “Countermeasures”. Jodi Harris guest-starred in “Crime Wave” during season three. Matthew Glave was in the CSI episode “Hollywood Brass” during the show’s fifth season. Aidan Andrews guest-starred in “Hide Sight” during season seven of CSI: NY. The other actors are new to the franchise.

“Trends With Benefits” and “At Risk” begin airing March 14 on CBS.
