3 min read

New episodes offer a CSI going against the evidence and the continued search for a serial killer. Official plot details and cast lists after the jump.

CSI: Miami won’t air this week. Instead, CBS will broadcast the NCAA Basketball Championship game live from Indianapolis, Indiana.

On Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, things get personal for one member of the CSI: New York team in “Rest in Peace, Marina Garito”:

When a woman linked to an unsolved murder case is found dead, the evidence and autopsy both suggest a suicide, but Stella is unconvinced and risks her life to pursue the case.

Allison Liddi-Brown has worked on Miami and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, but this is her first time directing an episode of New York. Executive producer Pam Veasey has 29 previous writing credits for the show, including “Hammer Down” earlier this season.

The following guest stars will appear in the episode:

  • Mädchen Amick as Aubrey Hunter
  • Joshua Rush as Luke Garito
  • Moran Atias as Marina Garito
  • Brian Goodman as Tony Dirisa

Mädchen Amick is back as Aubrey Hunter, who was first seen in “Pot of Gold”. Brian Goodman was in the CSI episode “Living Legend” during the show’s seventh season. The other actors are new to the franchise.

Rounding out the week on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation dives back into an ongoing search in “Irradiator”:

When the CSI team investigates the brutal murder of a family, they trace the killer to the house next door, which might belong to the ‘Dr. Jekyll’ serial killer.

Director Michael Nankin helmed “A Space Oddity” during season nine. Writing duo Bradley Thompson and David Weddle have penned five previous episodes of CSI together, including this season’s “The Lost Girls”.

The episode will feature the following actors and actresses in guest-starring roles:

  • Jorja Fox as Sara Sidle
  • Larry Sullivan as Officer Akers
  • Jack Conley as Jack Herson
  • John Pyper-Ferguson as Dr. William Byrne
  • Maurice Compte as Chalo Arua
  • Brady Smith as Tom Layman
  • Deborah Zoe as Lisa Layman
  • Sierra McCormick as Gracie Layman
  • John O’Leary as Cranky Old Man

  • Vincent Duvall as Swat Lt. Jack Parker
  • Michael Jace as Security Director
  • Cory Blevins as Surgeon

Jorja Fox is reprising her role as Sara Sidle, and Larry Sullivan returns as Officer Akers. This is the seventh time Vincent Duvall has portrayed Lt Jack Parker. His most recent appearance was in “No Way Out” during season nine. Las Vegas news anchor Paula Francis has 20 credits for the show, including the season ten premiere “Family Affair”. Jack Conley was in the season four episode “Coming of Rage”, and he also appeared in the Miami episode “Bad Seed” earlier this season. John Pyper-Ferguson also has previous credits for CSI (“Pilot”) and Miami (“One Night Stand”). Maurice Compte guest-starred in New York‘s “On the Job” during the show’s first season, and he was also in Miami‘s season one finale, “Body Count”. Brady Smith (“Cop Killer”) and Deborah Zoe (“Speed Kills”) were both on Miami during the show’s third season.

“Rest in Peace, Marina Garito” and “Irradiator” begin airing April 7 on CBS.
