‘Forget Me Not’ & ‘Today Is Life’ Official Details

CSI: NY airs the season nine finale, and CSI finds Sara in the hot seat. Official plot details and cast lists can be found after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starts out the week with “Forget Me Not” on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

Sara is a lead suspect in an investigation after a brief encounter with another man in which she was the last person to see him alive. Also, her separation from Grissom begins to take a toll.

Director Karen Gaviola has credits for CSI: Miami (most recently “Divorce Party”) and CSI: New York (“Tanglewood”), but this is her first time helming an episode of the flagship series. Co-Executive Producer Andrew Dettmann previously penned “Code Blue Plate Special” earlier this season.

The following actors and actresses will appear in guest-starring roles:

  • Alimi Ballard as Officer Kevin Crawford
  • Adam J. Harrington as Ronald Basderic
  • Larry Sullivan as Officer Akers
  • Kay Lenz as Laura Sidle
  • Carter MacIntyre as Taylor Wynard
  • Stan Egi as Joel Brenner


Larry Sullivan reprises his established recurring role as Officer Akers. Alimi Ballard returns as Officer Kevin Crawford, who was first seen in “Strip Maul”. Adam J Harrington is back as Ronald Basderic, the stalker from “Code Blue Plate Special”. Carter MacIntyre guest-starred in the New York episode “Party Down” during the show’s seventh season. The other actors are new to the franchise.

On Friday, the ninth season of CSI: New York comes to an end with “Today is Life” at 9:00pm ET/PT:

Community unrest over the police shooting of an unarmed man forces Mac and the team to move quickly to solve the case, on the ninth season finale of CSI: NY.

Allison Liddi-Brown has four previous directing credits for CSI: NY, most recently season eight’s “Kill Screen”. Executive Producer Zachary Reiter and Co-Executive Producer John Dove co-wrote “This is Life”. This marks the thirtieth writing credit for Reiter, whose previous episodes include “Late Admissions” from earlier this season. Dove penned 20 previous installments of the crime drama, most recently this season’s “Civilized Lies”.

The following guest stars will appear in the episode:

  • Megan Dodds as Christine Whitney
  • Patrick Mulvey as P.O. Kevin Hopkins
  • Paul James as P.O. Trey Jensen
  • Koby Kumi-Diaka as Timothy Brown

  • Linda Elena Tovar as Victoria Jimenez
  • Robert Ri’chard as Ray Griffin
  • Billy Malone as Desk Sergeant
  • Khalid Ghajji as Keith Lewis


Natalie Martinez is back as Detective Jamie Lovato, and Megan Dodds reprises her role as Mac’s girlfriend Christine. Billy Malone previously guest-starred in the season eight finale, “Near Death”. Paul James was in the Miami episode “Ambush” during the show’s sixth season, and Robert Ri’chard was in season four’s “48 Hours to Life”. The other actors are new to the franchise.

“Forget Me Not” and “This is Life” begin airing February 20 on CBS.
