Linn Joins The Cast Of ‘Devil’s Knot’

Former CSI: Miami actor Rex Linn (Frank Tripp) has been cast in the upcoming film Devil’s Knot, which is based on investigative reporter Mara Leveritt’s 2003 book Devil’s Knot: The True Story Of The West Memphis Three. Linn will play Chief Inspector Gary Gitchell, who was the lead investigator on the West Memphis Three case in 1993. Directed by Atom Egoyan, Devil’s Knot also stars Colin Firth, Reese Witherspoon and Alessandro Nivola.
