"Rogue" and "Aftershocks"

NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans offer the first episodes of the new season tonight, and you can find sneak peeks, quotes, interviews, tweets and photos below!

Here’s the first clip from the NCIS season 14 premiere, “Rogue”, featuring Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham), Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and guest star Brian Michael Jones (NCIS Probationary Agent Terry Mahler). (You can also find it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

Scene number two features Gibbs, Bishop, McGee and newcomer Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito). (It’s also available on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

And here’s sneak peek number three, which features Bishop, Quinn, Gibbs, McGee and newcomer Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama). (You can also watch it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

E! Online posted a clip from the episode, which you can watch here. It features Torres, Gibbs and Bishop.

Executive Producer Gary Glasberg did an interview with TV Guide about what fans can expect this season. “The intent was to really enter Season 14 with something new, and move the show forward, and try some things, and do something different,” he said. “It’s a fun new direction for the cast and for the writers, and it feels pretty fresh.” Here’s another excerpt:

8. Familiar Faces

Glasberg says Season 14 will feature more contributions from more of the outer circle characters. Under that umbrella, we’ll get to see a significant amount of Fornell (Joe Spano), in a continuation of the storyline from last season in which he was shot, as well as more of Vance’s (Rocky Carroll) and Palmer’s (Brian Dietzen) personal lives. And returning guest stars include Laura San Giacomo as Dr. Grace Confalone and – surprise! – Robert Wagner as Tony DiNozzo Sr.

“It’s a new season, a different season, but it’s the same NCIS,” Glasberg says. “It’s the same recipe. We just added some new ingredients. I’m excited for everybody to see what our new team is like.”

Glasberg also spoke to TV Line about what’s coming up this season, including a new roommate for Gibbs. “Fornell is living with Gibbs as he’s recuperating” from being shot at the end of season 13, Glasberg said. “Be prepared, because it’s some wonderful, light, funny stuff!” He also revealed that the team will be tested soon enough: “About halfway through the season, a significant story will kick in and carry us all the way to the finale.”

CBS posted a list of 14 Things You Don’t Know Yet About NCIS Season 14, as shared by Glasberg, and here’s one:

14. New faces. New styles. Same NCIS family. But Gibbs has something big up his sleeve. Bigger than we ever saw coming.

TV Insider spoke to the NCIS cast, with a focus on the show’s three new additions, including MI6 agent Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry). The newcomers have a “fish-out-of-water quality”, according to Glasberg, who also said this:

The goal was to move forward with something completely new. The show’s foundation—a wonderful family of characters—hasn’t changed. But now we have the confidence, the quirk and the mystery of these new agents on top of it. I tell people it’s the same fantastic, delicious NCIS, but with a new recipe.

Valderrama did a live chat on the official NCIS Facebook page, and you can watch the video below:

Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto) recently visited Hollywood Today Live, and you can watch several clips below:

Here’s the first scene from NCIS: NOLA’s season three premiere, “Aftershocks”, featuring Christopher LaSalle (Lucas Black), Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) and Dr Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder). (You can also find it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

Clip number two features LaSalle, Pride and Sonja Percy (Shalita Grant). (It’s also available on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

New cast member Vanessa Ferlito (FBI Agent Tammy Gregorio) spoke to TV Line about her character, including this excerpt:

TVLINE | Tell me about the circumstances under which the team first meets Tammy.

Well, they’re not expecting her. She kind of just creeps up on them and throws herself right into their world. They dont really know why she’s around, but once they find out, they’re not very happy about it.

TVLINE | I can imagine. Nobody likes a stranger getting up in their business.

Yeah, yeah — especially people from New Orleans. They’re very territorial. This is their place and they’re very proud of their city. It’s a very tight-knit community.

Entertainment Tonight has a clip from “Aftershocks”, featuring Gregorio, LaSalle and Percy, which you can watch here. The video is embedded at the top of an interview with Ferlito, which includes this quote: “Tammy comes into this group of people that’s very tight-knit — they have a unique way of running things — and she’s a whirlwind. They don’t know what to expect from her or what she really wants.”

CBS shared a list of three spoilers relating to season three, including this one about Ferlito’s character:

Expect lots of conflict as Tammy adjusts to working with the NCIS family. Her D.C., by-the-book methods don’t always mesh with Pride and his team’s process.

Bakula visited The Late Show last night. You can watch the full episode here (skip to 29:30), or watch the interview below:
