This is the first time Frederick E.O. Toye has directed an episode of Cyber; he previously helmed three episodes of CSI: New York, most recently “Indelible” during the show’s eighth season. “The Walking Dead” was co-written by production assistant Andrew Karlsruher, writers’ assistant Scotty McKnight and Co-Executive Producer Craig O’Neill. Karlsruher has a story credit for “Corrupted Memory” from earlier this season. This is McKnight’s first writing credit, but he appeared as a Detective in the season one finale “Family Secrets”. O’Neill has penned five episodes of CSI: Cyber, including this season’s “Python”.
The following guest stars will appear in the episode:
Kelly Osbourne as Stella Kaine
Kyle Schmid as Reaper
Krizia Bajos as Prosecuter Shaw
Adam Lieberman as Alton Shepard
Anzu Lawson as Judge Loring
Jeff Bowser as Customs Agent
Kyle Schmid previously appeared in the CSI: Miami episode “Bang, Bang, Your Debt” during the show’s sixth season. Adam Lieberman guest-starred in “Uninvited” during CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s fourteenth season, and Jeff Bowser was in the season fifteen episode “Buzz Kill”. The other actors are new to the franchise.
