CSI: Cyber, NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans and Criminal Minds will air new episodes this week. (NCIS: Los Angeles isn’t on the schedule.)
NCIS: Los Angeles will not air tonight. Instead, CBS is offering a 90-minute episode of Scorpion from 9:30-11:00pm ET/PT, following the series premiere of Supergirl at 8:30pm ET/PT. NCIS: LA will be back with a new episode next week.

When a hacker takes control of all networked medical devices at a hospital in Dallas and threatens to kill one patient every hour if his demands are not met, the Cyber team must find the source and figure out how they accessed an airtight security system.
Eriq La Salle directed the episode, which marks his second credit for Cyber; he previously helmed “Crowd Sourced” during season one. “hack E.R.” was written by Executive Story Editor Brandon Guercio, who also penned last season’s “L0m1s” and earned a story credit for “Killer En Route”.

Lauren Stamile has appeared on all three of the other CSI shows; she was in the CSI: Miami episode “Spring Break” during season one, she guest-starred in “Commuted Sentences” during the fourth season of CSI: New York, and she appeared in “Bad Blood” during CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’s final season. Marcus Giamatti has been on CSI (“Lover’s Lanes”) and Miami (“Blood Lust”). Jessica Tuck previously guest-starred on CSI, in season six’s “The Unusual Suspect”. Nathan Pelle appeared in the Miami episode “No Good Deed” during the show’s tenth season, and Andrew Lukich was in season nine’s “Blood Sugar”. The other actors are new to the franchise.
