DVDs Announced For ‘CSI’ & ‘CSI:Cyber’, Plus ‘NCIS’ Blu-ray


As CSI Files previously reported, the most recent seasons of NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans and Criminal Minds will be available on DVD in August. It has now been announced that the first season of CSI: Cyber will be released in September, along with the fifteenth and final season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The fifteenth season of CSI is labeled “The Final Season” on the DVD set, which will be released on Tuesday, September 15. The five-disc set includes all 18 episodes from the show’s shortened season, along with special features. There are deleted scenes and featurettes, including ones called “Girls Gone Gadgets” and “That’s All, Stokes”. The complete first season of the latest CSI spinoff, CSI: Cyber, will also be available on September 15. All 13 episodes will be included on the four-disc set, along with the CSI episode that served as a backdoor pilot, “Kitty”. The special features include deleted scenes and a gag reel, along with featurettes like “Welcome to CTOC” and “Tech Tools Of The Trade”. In addition to the previously mentioned DVD release, the twelfth season of NCIS will also be available on high-definition Blu-ray Disc. The release date for the Blu-ray set is September 15, exactly four weeks after the DVDs hit store shelves. The Blu-ray version of season 12 includes the same special features as the DVDs, on a six-BD package covered by an “O-sleeve”.
