What’s On This Week

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation won’t air this week, but NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans and Criminal Minds have new episodes on the schedule. (NCIS: Los Angeles airs a repeat tonight.)

NCIS: LA will re-air “Inelegant Heart” from earlier this season tonight from 9:00-9:59pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode synopsis (more information here):

The NCIS: LA team discovers that one of their own is compromised when they investigate the murder of a Navy contractor involved in illegal transactions of confidential data. Meanwhile, Hetty is under investigation in Washington, D.C., when the Department of Justice arrives in L.A. to investigate the team.

The NCIS team searches for a home-grown terrorist after a rescue mission in Syria reveals an American was involved in the capture of a social worker. Meanwhile, McGee and Bishop question DiNozzo’s unusual behavior.

On Wednesday, Criminal Minds returns from the winter hiatus with “The Forever People” at 9:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

When frozen bodies are found in Nevada floating in water, the BAU’s investigation leads them to suspect that the victims were part of a cult that could be behind the deaths. Also, JJ confronts old demons from her abduction and torture last year.

As CSI Files previously reported, CSI isn’t on the schedule this week. Instead, CBS will air a new episode of Scorpion at 10:00pm ET/PT on Sunday following the NFL’s AFC Championship game. CSI will be back on January 25 with a new episode.
