‘Dead Rails’ Official Details, Plus What’s On This Week

Here is the cast list and official details for this week’s episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, plus what’s on NCIS: Los Angeles and Criminal Minds. (NCIS offers a repeat tomorrow, and NCIS: New Orleans is not on the schedule.)

NCIS: Los Angeles will air “Reign Fall” on Monday at 9:59pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode synopsis (more information here):

Sam reflects on his own upbringing and relationship with his father when the team investigates the murders of marines who have sons in military academies.

Following a special airing of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer on Tuesday at 8:00pm ET/PT, NCIS will re-air the season twelve premiere, “Twenty Klicks”, at 9:01pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

Gibbs and McGee travel to Russia to safely escort home an NCIS computer engineer connected to classified intel, but their mission is compromised and they are forced to go off the grid while hunted by a Russian mercenary group. Meanwhile, the team in D.C. frantically uses every asset and inter-agency contact they have in an attempt to locate their missing team members.


NCIS: NOLA is not on the schedule this week, but there will be a new episode next Tuesday.


On Wednesday, Criminal Minds offers “Amelia Porter” at 9:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

When the BAU is called to Salt Lake City Utah to investigate a triple homicide, the search for a connection among the victims could lead them to a fugitive who could have ties to the UnSub.

The CSI team investigates the bizarre death of a man who was killed not once, but twice.

Line Producer Frank Waldeck directed the episode, which marks his fifteenth credit for the series; he previously helmed “Girls Gone Wilder” earlier this season. “Dead Rails” was penned by Co-Executive Producer Gavin Harris, whose eleven previous writing credits include “The Book of Shadows” from earlier this year.

Alimi Ballard is back as Detective Crawford. Laura Slade Wiggins previously appeared in the season ten episode “World’s End”. Alexandra Holden was in the CSI: Miami episode “Gone Baby Gone” during the show’s seventh season. The other actors are new to the franchise.
