NCIS

Leading man Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs) recently signed on to develop a series for the CW called Shakespeare’s Sisters.

And here are some photos:

Criminal Minds

Zap2It shared a short interview with newcomer Jennifer Love Hewitt (Kate Callahan), and here’s a quote about doing prep work for the show:

I thought there was going to be some kind of crash course, but this all happened very quickly, so I did not have a chance to do that. On the second day of work, we were in a house searching for a criminal with guns drawn … and I remember sort of looking around and wondering, “What is happening right now?”

Of course, everyone else in the cast knew how to do everything. A few people on the set were very kind to me and took me aside and were like, “Do you need some help?” And I said, “Yes. I really need help.” They showed me, and I’m still learning. It’s fun, though.

Here’s an interview with AJ Cook (JJ Jareau) from Flair Magazine. Check out this excerpt:

12. What can fans expect from JJ on the new season?

Well JJ went through a lot in season nine but we haven’t seen her deal with any of it. As a woman, she’s so good at pushing it down and avoiding her own emotional, mental and physical health. Unfortunately, you can only do that for so long before you break. We may finally see that JJ isn’t a superhuman!!

TV Guide posted a compilation video of Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) and Penelope Garcia’s (Kirsten Vangsness) pet names for each other:

Next, take a look at this interview with composers Steffan and Marc Fantini from Channel Guide Magazine, including this excerpt:

How does music set the mood for a scene?

Steffan: I’m a fan of the show too, so I want to make sure that when I’m watching it, when we finish scoring it, we make sure we’re getting the right feeling. It’s married- the music and the picture and the story and it’s just a feeling that you get and a confidence.

Marc: For me, it’s creating a world each week. You don’t want any world to be the same. You want to feel like you’re being dropped into a different dark, scary, riveting world each week. And that’s how I feel the music affects the scene and the story. It puts you in the world so that all of a sudden you’re transported and you suspend disbelief and you’re in the story. And that’s our job, to bring you into that world and let it unfold.
