Executive Producer Louis Milito directed the episode, which marks his seventeenth credit for CSI; he previously helmed “The Fallen” during season 14. “Bad Blood” was penned by Co-Executive Producer Tom Mularz, whose 18 previous writing credits include last season’s “Consumed”.

Lauren Stamile previously appeared on CSI: Miami (“Spring Break”) and CSI: New York (“Commuted Sentences”). Walter Perez was in the Miami episode “Throwing Heat” during the show’s fifth season. The other actors are new to the franchise.
