Helgenberger’s New Series ‘Intelligence’ Premieres Tonight


As CSI Files previously reported, former CSI: Crime Scene Investigation actress Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) stars in the new CBS drama Intelligence. The show will premiere tonight at 9:00pm ET/PT, in the timeslot normally occupied by NCIS: Los Angeles. The pilot will be re-aired this Friday, January 10 at 8:00pm ET/PT, and the show will move to its permanent Monday 10:00pm ET/PT timeslot starting with episode two next week.

Check out this brief interview with Helgenberger from the New York Post about Intelligence. Regarding her decision to leave CSI during season 12, the actress said, “Certainly I adored the cast, crew and writers. It wasn’t that I was needing to get out of that situation. But creatively, I felt like I needed to switch it up. I didn’t think about going back into [another TV] series until later because I was really hoping to find a play.”
