Check out clips from this week’s episodes of NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, which you can find embedded after the jump, along with interview links and tweets for both shows. (Contains spoilers!)

First, here’s a scene from the NCIS episode “Homesick”, featuring Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham), Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and guest star Meredith Eaton (Carol Wilson). (You can also watch it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

Also be sure to check out this interview with Rocky Carroll (Leon Vance) from TV Line—here’s an excerpt about tonight’s episode:

TVLINE | And the case of the week, some mystery illness — what’s going on there?

There’s an epidemic that unfortunately is affecting a lot of children, so it’s kind of a bold move on the part of the writers and producers to do a holiday episode where kids are [in jeopardy]. But you get to see everybody at their best. It’s funny, the fans always ask, “Which episodes are your favorite?” I always love the holiday episodes, because you really get to see everybody at their best. We do holiday episodes very well.

Finally, here’s the name of a song featured in tonight’s episode (more info here):

Here’s a clip from the NCIS: LA holiday episode, “Merry Evasion”, featuring G Callen (Chris O’Donnell), Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) and guest star Michelle Trachtenberg. (It is also available on CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

And here’s another scene, featuring Sam, Callen, Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Eric Beale (Barrett Foa). (You can also find it on CBS.com.)

Trachtenberg spoke to TV Guide about her guest role, and you can find an excerpt below:

This is definitely the most action-packed role [I’ve done]. There was definitely more gunfire than I’m used to. There were several — of course fake — weapons aimed in my direction, and there were car explosions and tons of stunts and special effects. I definitely picked up my fair share of bruises. Every time I tried to do something and then would get all bruised up they were like, ‘Okay, let’s go to the stunt girl,’ and I’m like, ‘Sounds good!’ … It was pretty intense.

Next, check out this TV Line interview with Executive Producer Shane Brennan about Kensi Blye’s (Daniela Ruah) assignment in Afghanistan, which gave the writers a way to include the character during Ruah’s maternity leave. “We didn’t want to just send her off so she disappeared for a number of episodes, so we thought very carefully about how we could do it,” Brennan explained. The solution was to film her scenes ahead of time so she could be edited into every episode.

Executive Producer John Peter Kousakis posted these tweets about “Merry Evasion”:

Finally, here’s an interview with Antonio Charity, who guest-stars in tonight’s episode. “I play the supervisor of water and power company,” Charity said. “In this particular scene, LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell are doing their cop thing, trying to entice me into leaving my post.”
