You can find clips from this week’s episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Criminal Minds embedded after the jump, along with chat information, interview links and photos for CSI.

First, here’s a scene from the Criminal Minds episode “Strange Fruit”, featuring JJ Jareau (AJ Cook), Mateo Cruz (Esai Morales) and Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness). (You can also watch it on CBS.com, CBS Press Express and SpoilerTV.)

Check out this clip from the CSI episode “Check In and Check Out”, featuring Henry Andrews (Jon Wellner) and David Hodges (Wallace Langham). (It is also available on TV Line.)

Here’s another clip, featuring guest star Jordin Sparks and Officer Akers (Larry Sullivan). (You can also watch it on CBS.com and CBS Press Express.)

CBS also shared a behind-the-scenes video featuring Sparks (also available on CBS.com and CBS Press Express):

This tweet confirms which members of the cast and crew will be live-tweeting during “Check In and Check Out”:

You can find some quotes from Sparks on PerezHilton.com. She said the fake blood used in the above scene was “so sticky,” adding, “[I]t was just so fun to do that, because I love stuff like that! I love getting down and dirty for the sake of a role!”

The American Idol winner also spoke to TV Fanatic about her guest spot. Here’s an excerpt:

TV Fanatic: This is very different than what we’re used to seeing so how did you approach the role, especially since I’m guessing this is not a situation you’ve been in in your life?

Jordin Sparks: Exactly. Exactly. First I have to say, I’m such a huge fan of the show. Before any of this happened I have a boxed set of the seasons up to that point when I was fourteen years old and after I did my homework I was watching CSI. When I was cleaning my room I had CSI on. If I was up on a road trip I was watching it so to be on the show was definitely a dream come true for me. My fourteen-year-old self was just jumping up and down the entire time and it was definitely a check off my bucket list.

Here’s another interview with Sparks, this time from Zap2It. Check out an excerpt below:

What’s your character like?

Oh! How do I do this [without spoiling anything]? I will say that I am a victim and a suspect all at the same time. My character, when you first see you kind of are just like, “Yeah, she’s crazy.” I was covered in blood, which was super fun for me because being a fan of the show I’ve always wanted to be the character that’s covered in blood and gore and all that stuff. We shot it in California and it was pretty cold that night and the fake blood was so sticky my fingers were sticking together. What happens in the episode is there have been multiple murders at this same place, and they’re trying to fit them together. Is it haunted? Is there a serial killer here? But every murder is different so they’re trying to come to a conclusion and figure it out. I’m involved in some of the shenanigans that go on there.

ET Online spoke to Sparks as well—here’s an excerpt:

ETonline: Given your level of love, how hard did you geek out on set?

Sparks: Shut up, how do you know!?! [laughs] But it was difficult because my character is in such an emotional and heart-breaking place, yet I had the biggest smile on my face the whole time we were in between takes and I was talking to the actors. Then I’d have to go back and be this depressed girl, so I really had to focus. I wanted to do a good job but couldn’t hide how happy I was to be there. It was a big check on my bucket list. I hope I nailed it because it was such a blur of all the emotions.

And here are a few photos of Sparks on the CSI set:
