Former ‘CSI’ Writers’ 2013-2014 Gigs

Much like our article from the 2012-2013 TV season, CSI Files tracked down a list of former writers from the CSI franchise to see where they’re stationed for the 2013-2014 season.

MICHAEL F.X. DALEY
Series: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
Tenure: 2005-2008, 2010-2013
Credits: “Lying Down With Dogs,” “Split Decisions,” and two other episodes.
Where You Can Find Him Now: Daley navigated his way from script coordinator to freelance writer during his time on the original CSI. This year Daley will be working on the new ABC series Resurrection (set to debut March 9). In addition to Resurrection, Daley will balance teaching a class at his alma mater Loyola Marymount University.

ALLEN MACDONALD
Series: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
Tenure: 2003-2010
Credits: “Spark of Life,” “Empty Eyes,” and twelve other episodes.
Where You Can Find Him Now: After serving as a supervising producer on ABC’s Body of Proof for two seasons, MacDonald will next occupy a spot on the new CBS mid-season series Reckless.

TREY CALLAWAY
Series: CSI: New York
Tenure: 2007-2013
Credits: “Child’s Play,” “Vacation Getaway,” and sixteen other episodes.
Where You Can Find Him Now: With CSI: NY cancelled back in May, Callaway joined CSI creator Anthony E. Zuiker as a producer and writer on ABC’s summer reality series Whodunnit? He’ll serve as a co-executive producer and writer for Revolution‘s sophomore season.

SARAH GOLDFINGER
Series: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
Tenure: 2000-2009
Credits: “Got Murder?”, “Nesting Dolls,” and twenty-two other episodes.
Where You Can Find Her Now: Goldfinger joined CSI during the second episode of the show’s run, working as a writers’ PA and eventually moving up to supervising producer. After stints on Hawaii Five-OParenthood and Da Vinci’s Demons, she’ll serve as a co-executive producer on Fox’s freshman series Almost Human, where she will sit alongside co-showrunner and former CSI writer Naren Shankar.

CORINNE MARRINAN TRIPP
Series: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
Tenure: 2000-2010
Credits: “Let It Bleed”, “If I Had A Hammer…” and three other episodes.
Where You Can Find Her Now: The Academy-Award winning producer covered many posts while at CSI from assistant to producer. This season she’ll write two episodes of Crossing Lines, which is currently airing on NBC.

COREY MILLER
Series: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami
Tenure: 2000-2009
CSI Credits: “You’ve Got Male” and “One Hit Wonder.”
CSI: Miami Credits: “Tinder Box,” “Under the Influence” and twenty other episodes.
Where You Can Find Him Now: Miller went from executive producer Carol Mendelsohn‘s assistant to staff writer on Miami, working his way to supervising producer by the end of his run. After some time at Body of Proof, Miller has graduated to executive producer and will co-show run CBS’ Reckless.
