Petersen Guest-Stars On ‘Blue’, Might Not Return To ‘CSI’

Former CSI: Crime Scene Investigation leading man William Petersen (Gil Grissom) will appear in an episode of Julia Stiles’ web series Blue (YouTube), which airs this Friday, March 29. The actor spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the role, and he revealed that he might not return to CSI for a cameo before the crime drama goes off the air. “I didn’t want it to be like he’s back, he’s not back,” Petersen said. “It should be a clean break, leave when you’re supposed to. It’s like breaking up with a girlfriend. If you keep calling her every month, you’ll never move on!”
