‘CSI:NY’ Dips In Viewers, Stays Steady In The Demo Against Football

The latest episode of CSI: New York, “Command+P”, came up short against college football on Friday, January 4. The Cotton Bowl had the highest ratings of the night from 8:00-10:00pm, pulling in 11.71 million viewers during the 9:00pm hour. CSI: NY was second with 9.18 million, which is down from the previous episode. Shark Tank (6.34 million), the first half of a two-hour Dateline (4.68 million), and a repeat of Arrow (1.09 million) rounded out the hour. In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, football was first with a 3.4 rating/10 share for the 9:00pm hour. Tank was second with 1.8/5, while New York earned a third place 1.4/4, which is equal to the previous episode. Finally, Dateline came fourth in the demo with 1.2/4 for the hour, and Arrow was last with 0.3/1.
