The franchise offers two new episodes this week: the death of a music historian gets personal for Greg, while Mac and the team investigate a 20-year-old case. Official plot details and cast lists can be found after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation delves into Vegas history in “It Was a Very Good Year” on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

Line Producer Frank Waldeck has six previous directing credits for CSI, most recently last season’s “Seeing Red”. The episode was written by Co-Executive Producer Gavin Harris, who has penned four previous episodes; his most recent credit is for season twelve’s “CSI Unplugged”.

This is the third time director Nathan Hope has helmed an episode of New York; his previous credits include “Cavallino Rampante” from season eight.
