ABC will present the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 23, just days before the returning members of the CSI franchise are scheduled to air their season premieres. CSI: Miami was cancelled earlier this year by CBS, but the crime drama has received an Emmy nomination in the “Outstanding Sound Editing For A Series” category for the episode “Blown Away”. Miami is up against Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones.
