CBS Reveals Finale Dates & Details

1 min read

The 2011-2012 television season is coming to an end, and CBS has released information about the upcoming season finales for all three members of the CSI franchise. You can find details after the jump!

CSI: Miami will be the first member of the franchise to end the season. The season ten finale, “Habeas Corpse”, will air Sunday, April 8 at 10:00pm ET/PT. (As CSI Files previously reported, the network will debut the new series NYC 22 in Miami’s timeslot on April 15.)

When one of the CSI’s biggest enemies is murdered, Horatio (David Caruso) must determine which of his team members is a suspect.

One month later, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will air its season twelve finale on Wednesday, May 9 at 10:00pm ET/PT. (CSI has already been renewed for season thirteen.)

When a friend of the Sheriff becomes a prime suspect in his wife’s brutal murder, the investigation’s political fallout reveals the truth behind Russell’s (Ted Danson) troubled history with Finlay (Elisabeth Shue). Also, an old foe of the CSIs resurfaces and threatens the team.

On Friday, May 11, CSI: New York will end its eighth season at 9:00pm ET/PT:

When Mac (Gary Sinise) is shot, he finds himself in limbo as he fights for his life.

  1. Personally I would like both of them renewed Miami and NY. that is. Especially Miami. The way the season finale’s end is not a proper ending for the series. Or the one for NY either. It has to have a final ending. As for CSI I personally don’t like Elizabeth Shue’s Character.

  2. I have another suggestion. Why not put Miami on in the 9:00 slot on Monday in front of Hawaii Five-0 or in the 10:00 slot on Tuesday after NCIS and NCIS:LA. It is very discouraging having it on Sunday and have it come on later. Be aware that if it is over an hour late then the 10:00 news gets put on then Miami does not come on after all. So this is why we would like it on a different Night of the week. That is also why it is having such low ratings.

  3. Hey lynn cooper, you have no idea how much I agree with you!!! Plus, you dont know how HAPPY I am to hear you say that!!!

  4. Its like Im repeating myself here; the way the season finale will end (for csi miami) is NOT gonna be a proper ending for the series. Its like how the soprano’s ended we’re be like WHAT THE HELL? I know I wont be happy. O ‘n the fact that they’ve already renewed csi vegas and NOT miami yet pisses me OFF!!!

  5. Now thats a great idea!!! This situation never happened until AFTER they moved csi miami to sunday. Put it back on mondays!!! Forget about Hawaii Five O!!! I hope I didnt affend anyone… sorry.

  6. O I forgot to ask can somebody pleaseeeeeee tell me why does ryan wolfe have a bruse on the right side of his face while he is talking to sam (whose on the stretcher) in the photo for habeas corpse? Does anybody know?

  7. I have never watched Miami so doesn’t matter to me one way or the other if it comes back and to be honest I’m not particularly interested in the new Danson/Shue format for Vegas either. However I would like to see NY renewed if only to see the back of the dreadful Christine perminantly but if this is to be Mac and co’s last hooray then all I and I’m guessing just about everybody else wants to see is for him to say his goodbye’s to Claire whilst in his coma and then to have him go off into the sunset with a certain curly haired, green eyed, half greek ex-NYPD officer.

  8. I hope CBS will renew CSI Miami and CSI NY, those shows are better than other shows that will have another season, sorry for my english, is not my native language.

  9. CSI:Miami was put on Sunday so that it would lose veiwers and be canceled. CBS should just cancel Two Men and a New Half Wit and put CSI:Miami on at 9:00 so I can see the whole show, I work Sunday nights and recording the show doesen’t work because of basketball. But guess what the basketball games don’t draw in the same amount of people that watch the regular shows on that night.

  10. Yeah, maybe if they put csi miami on a different day and just cancel two and a half wat ever the hell they call that stupid show nowadays csi miami would get MORE viewers. Put it on a different day mite just work. People @ cbs are you listening? Pleaseee give the fans wat they want (or ask for). Pleaseee dont cancel csi miami!!!

  11. I agree with you Cereza1000!!! But, personally in my opinion they should just renew csi miami.

  12. so is emilyand adam finally get together or is emily taking off like marge . also for las vegas csi did ted andeiizabeth have a affair back then they seem pretty close. for nycsi you cant kill offmac he is one of the main ones. anymore surprises in store?

  13. emily/adam get back to where they were or shes taking off like marge did. vegas /ted had affair with elizabeth, thats wht wife is being brought in. ny/cantkill off mac he is one of the main ones. what other surprises are there

  14. csi miami on sundays sucks its always getting cut or pushed back its on too late. i like watching this get rid of 21/2 men .

  15. What will we do without a new series of CSIO Miami? Let us hope we are not destined for a life time of repeats. In the UK we have more repeats than a John Waynes gun.

  16. I am so hooked on all three CSI’s and love the characters in each series. So sad to see the network doesn’t want to renew, instead they have these new cop shows with the same ols story lines just different players. Jerry Bruckheimer was a genius for these shows. Miami was the best with the view and ocean and Vegas has the weirdo and what gambling does to people, then New York has the influx of different mix of peoples. I will miss all three of these great CSI’s I have learned so much from along with the entertainment.
