Check Out The First 5 Parts Of ‘Anatomy Of A TV Hit’

As CSI Files previously reported, CBS.com has an ongoing webseries called “Anatomy of a TV Hit”, which offers fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the making of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The first five episodes of the webseries are already online, and in case you haven’t seen them yet, you can find them embedded after the jump.

The first two parts of the series explore the “Birth of CSI”. These clips feature CSI creator Anthony Zuiker, Executive Producer Jonathan Littman, Executive Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler, President and CEO of CBS Corporation Les Moonves, Executive Producer Cynthia Chvatal, Executive Producer and former leading man William Petersen (Gil Grissom), Executive Producer Carol Mendelsohn, Executive Producer Ann Donahue, director Danny Cannon and former leading lady Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows):



Part three of the series is the first episode to delve into the production of last week’s episode, “Stealing Home”. The casting video features director Alec Smight, writing duo and Co-Executive Producers Treena Hancock and Melissa R Byer, as well as guest stars Kira Sternbach, Ashley Williams, Kasey Mahaffy, and Jason and Randy Sklar:



The fourth episode of the webseries offers a look at the Special and Visual Effects for “Stealing Home”, and this video features Production Designer Daniel Novotny, Location Manager Paul Wilson, Construction Coordinator Ralph Peterson, Set Decorator Andi Brittan, Special Effects Supervisor Mark Byers and Visual Effects Supervisor Rik Shorten:



The fifth video from the series delves into the story of “Stealing Home”, featuring writers Hancock and Byer, Mendelsohn, Technical Advisor and Co-Producer Rick Catalani, Head Researcher and actor David Berman (David Phillips), and Researcher and actor Jon Wellner (Henry Andrews):
