The ‘Miami’ Team Faces Destruction

1 min read

The ongoing “Miami Taunter” storyline heralds big changes for the CSI: Miami team as season ten draws to a close. (Spoilers after the jump!)

As CSI Files previously reported, Raquel Welch will play the matriarch of the Navarro clan in an upcoming episode. She is the grandmother of “Miami Taunter” suspect Esteban Navarro (Kuno Becker), but the extent of her role in the storyline remains to be seen. “All the roads of murder lead to her,” Executive Producer Marc Dube told TV Line. Whether Welch’s character is involved remains a “mystery”, but things will get complicated when the Navarros enlist the services of a high-profile law firm. The team gets separated in the season finale, and members will be reassigned. “We’ll see where the chips fall,” Dube revealed, but fans will have to wait until the new season to find out whether Horatio and the CSIs are reunited.

  1. Well Dube sure thinks there’s going to be a Season 11. I would like there to be but don’t count your chickens before they hatch…

  2. I have to be honest; im alittle scared & nervous but, im staying positive that it will return. If your a BIG fan of csi miami like ME,(since 2003) then its easy to believe it will. I read on wikipedia.com its got @ least 2 more years. We’ll see cross our fingers…..

  3. Does anyone know definitely if “Miami” has been renewed for 2011-2012? This scenario sounds like the writers are trying to hedge their bets in case of possible cancellation.

  4. It hasn’t been renewed yet, but that doesn’t mean it will be cancelled. CBS renewed a bunch of series already, including the original CSI, but they will make more announcements as we get closer to the end of the season. CSI: Miami, like CSI: NY, is certainly in danger because CBS has such a strong lineup, but it’s a bit too soon to say for sure that anything is going to be gone after this year. After all, CBS still has at least one new series that has yet to premiere (NYC 22), and they probably want to wait to see how ALL of the series perform before they make any final decisions about what will stay and what will go. 🙂
