Gustin Had ‘A Lot Of Fun’ Playing Twins On ‘Miami’
1 min readGlee actor Grant Gustin guest-starred in the latest episode of CSI: Miami, “Terminal Velocity”, and he played a dual role as twins Trent and Scott. This required Gustin to film each part separately, with a silent stand-in as a scene partner. They switched back and forth until Gustin filmed all of Trent and Scott’s lines. “It was so weird,” the actor told Red Eye Chicago, “like doing a scene with no one saying anything to you in response. But it was a lot of fun.”
“For some reason the way it worked out, at least the last day of filming when I was doing the heavy scene with myself, I was running back and forth changing I think two or three times between twins,” Gustin continued. That required different costumes and makeup for each character. “So we were running back and forth and doing each frame as quickly as possible. It was fun and exciting switching back and forth.”
