The franchise offers two new episodes this week, featuring an FBI collaboration and a beauty pageant gone wrong. Official plot details and cast lists can be found after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation joins forces with the federal government in “Zippered” on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

When the CSI team discovers a deceased rancher was also a ballistics expert, they have to work with the FBI to solve the case.

Producer Alec Smight has directed 23 previous episodes of CSI, most recently last month’s “Freaks & Geeks”. Supervising Producer Joe Pokaski penned “Zippered”, and he previously wrote “Tell Tale Hearts” from earlier this season.

The following guest stars will appear in the episode:

  • Monique Gabriela Curnen as Xiomara Garcia
  • Grant Show as Agent Viggo McQuaid
  • Matt Lauria as Agent Pratt
  • Titus Welliver as Mark Gabriel
  • Annabeth Gish as Laura Gabriel
  • Sterling Beaumon as Drillbit

Gish also guest-starred on CSI: Miami, appearing in “Not Landing” during the show’s second season. The other actors are new to the franchise.

CSI: New York will not air on Friday. Instead, CBS will air Yes, Virginia and The Elf on the Shelf: An Elf’s Story from 9:00-10:00pm ET/PT as part of a night of holiday-themed programming, leading into a repeat of Blue Bloods at 10:00pm ET/PT.

Competition turns deadly when CSI: Miami airs “Crowned” on Sunday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

The CSIs expose the seedy underbelly of children’s beauty pageants when a contestant’s mom is murdered.

Co-Executive Producer Gina Lamar directed the episode, which marks her sixteenth time in the director’s chair for the crime drama; her previous credits include this season’s “By the Book”. “Crowned” was co-written by Supervising Producer Brett Mahoney and Co-Executive Producer Krystal Houghton Ziv. Mahoney wrote six previous episodes, including “Killer Regrets”, and Ziv has 21 writing credits, most recently “Look Who’s Taunting”.

The episode will feature the following guest stars:
