CSI: Crime Scene Investigation heads to Las Vegas to film scenes for the upcoming season 12 premiere, and Ausiello provides information about two of CSI’s female stars. (Spoilers after the jump!)
TV Line reports that Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) is committed to doing at least 15 episodes of CSI during season 12. As for leading lady Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows), TV Line revealed that the actress will leave toward the end of the season, and she will get “quite the send-off.”
To get things started on season 12, some of the CSI cast members headed to Las Vegas, Nevada to film scenes on location. Helgenberger and Fox were joined by George Eads (Nick Stokes) and newcomer Ted Danson (who is replacing Laurence Fishburne [Dr Ray Langston]). The season premiere is called “73 Seconds”; it was written by Gavin Harris (Cold Case) and is being directed by Alec Smight (“Cello and Goodbye”). Locations used for the premiere include the Golden Nugget casino-hotel and the Fremont Street Experience.
