‘Paint It Black’ Official Details

One member of the franchise offers a new episode this week, featuring a dead co-ed in a hot tub. Official plot details and cast lists after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will air a repeat of “Bump and Grind” from earlier this season on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT. The team investigated the death of a man whose body was put through a shredder, and the case led them to a company that protected people from identity theft.

On Friday, CSI: New York will air this season’s “Out of the Sky” at 9:00pm ET/PT. Thieves broke into a powerful attorney’s penthouse apartment and stole $5 million worth of jewels, killing one of the attorney’s clients in the process.

A new episode of CSI: Miami will air on Sunday at 10:00pm ET/PT. “Paint it Black” finds the team investigating the death of a student:

When the CSIs find a co-ed dead in a hot tub, they investigate a case marked by jealousy, psychosis and college roommates.

Gina Lamar has directed 12 previous episodes of the crime drama, most recently “Blood Lust” from earlier this season. Krystal Houghton Ziv and Melissa Scrivner co-wrote “Paint it Black”. Houghton Ziv has 19 credits, including “Blood Lust”, and Scrivner wrote five episodes, including this year’s “F-T-F”.

Christian Clemenson and Christopher Redman are reprising established recurring roles. Beau Mirchoff was in the season one episode “Grave Young Men”. The other actors are new to the franchise.

The repeats of “Bump and Grind” and “Out of the Sky”, as well as the new episode “Paint it Black”, begin airing April 14 on CBS.
