Barbour: It’s Still Up In The Air
1 min readCSI: Crime Scene Investigation writer Christopher Barbour told Shane Saunders that leading lady Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) will be present for at least a portion of season 12. However, he doesn’t know the exact details surrounding her return or how long she’ll appear. “I think that’s still up in the air to some degree,” the writer explained. He added, “[W]e obviously want to try to keep it open so she can return in the future, and we really don’t want her to leave at all.”
The writers are planning for Laurence Fishburne (Dr Ray Langston) to be back next season, but that may depend on circumstances beyond their control. “I certainly hope he is coming back,” Barbour said. “We don’t know. In reality, the actors have contracts that are being renegotiated. I have no connection to that whatsoever.”
