Von Teese: I Felt Very Stripped Down

As CSI Files previously reported, burlesque artist Dita Von Teese takes on three distinct acting roles in tonight’s episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, “A Kiss Before Frying”. “The acting world is something I don’t even pretend to know anything about,” Von Teese told TVGuide.com. “I think it’s important to try new things, and I hope my efforts come off well. This was a much bigger role than I originally thought.” She added that playing a shy schoolteacher required her to ditch her glamorous look for something much more subdued. Without those tricks, she explained, “I felt very stripped down.”
