The latest episode of CSI: New York, “To What End?”, earned lower ratings than the previous episode on Friday, January 7. The episode pulled in 9.44 million viewers, which put it in second place behind the Cotton Bowl on Fox, which averaged 9.39 million viewers for the night. Primetime: What Would You Do? was third for the hour with 5.15 million viewers, followed by Dateline (5.09 million) and a repeat of Supernatural (1.24 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, the Cotton Bowl was first for the night with an average 2.8 rating/9 share. Primetime was second with 1.7/5, followed by CSI: NY (1.6/5), Dateline (1.3/4) and Supernatural (0.5/1).
