The franchise offers three brand new episodes this week featuring a deadly photograph, a killer clown and a strange double homicide. Official plot details and cast lists after the jump.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starts things out on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT with death imitating art in “Man Up”:

The CSIs question the validity of an online picture depicting a murdered call girl until they find the same woman strangled to death in the dumpster that appears in the photo.

The episode was directed by Alec Smight. Smight has 17 previous credits for the series, including “House of Hoarders” earlier this season. Michael F.X. Daley wrote “Lying Down With Dogs” during the show’s eighth season.

The following guest stars will appear in the episode:

  • Archie Kao as Archie Johnson
  • Alex Carter as Detective Vartann
  • Sheeri Rappaport as Mandy Webster
  • Carrot Top as Carrot Top
  • Rich Sommer as Scott Horan
  • James Snyder as Hunter Ahearn
  • Jonathan Chase as Jeff Blakely
  • Kevin Weisman as Craig Higgins
  • Amy Acker as Sandy Colfax
  • Blake Gibbons as Doyle Mars
  • Scott Anthony Leet as Denny Mars
  • Matthew Yuan as Heavy Set Lookiloo
  • Trevor Donovan as Spartan
  • Lili Mirojnick as Amber Rowe
  • Scott Peat as Head of Security

Archie Kao, Alex Carter and Sheeri Rappaport are reprising established recurring roles. Kevin Weisman previously appeared on CSI: New York (“The Box”) and CSI: Miami (“Meltdown”). Jonathan Chase was in the New York episode “It Happened To Me” last season. Blake Gibbons played different characters in two Miami episodes: “Dead Air” during the show’s fourth season, and season eight’s “Backfire”. The other actors are new to the franchise.

It’s no laughing matter when CSI: New York airs “To What End?” on Friday at 9:00pm ET/PT:

When a man in full clown costume shoots a bakery owner, the CSIs investigate and discover a decision from Flack’s past that may put him in jeopardy. David James Elliott (‘JAG’) guest stars as FBI Agent Russ Josephson, Jo’s ex-husband.

Eric Laneuville directed two previous episodes, most recently “Unfriendly Chat” earlier this season. Executive producer Pam Veasey co-wrote “To What End?” with co-executive producer Zachary Reiter. Veasey has 32 writing credits for the series, including the season seven premiere “The 34th Floor”. Reiter penned 21 previous episodes, most recently last season’s finale, “Vacation Getaway”.

The episode will feature the following guest stars:

  • David James Elliott as Russ Josephson
  • JD Pardo as Bobby Renton
  • Jackie Tohn as Ainsley McCrea
  • Tracy Fraim as Gino Cressida
  • Ron Glass as Colby Glass
  • Martinez as Stan Ridgeway
  • Gadi Erel as Elmo Vidivic
  • Chris Warren Gilbert as Officer #1
  • Keith Adams as Officer #2
  • Jordan Rider as Teddy Delabate

David James Elliott is making his first appearance in a potentially-recurring role as Russ Josephson, the ex-husband of newcomer Jo Danville (Sela Ward). JD Pardo was in the Miami episode “Silencer” during the show’s fourth season, and Chris Warren Gilbert appeared in “Delko for the Defense” during season eight.

CSI: Miami will air in its temporary 8:00pm ET/PT timeslot on Sunday, and the team is forced to deal with a lack of evidence in “F-T-F”:

When a fire hydrant washes away all of the evidence at a crime scene, the CSIs must recreate a very bizarre double murder.

Actor David Arquette directed the episode, which marks his first time working in the franchise. Melissa Scrivner wrote the episode based on a story by K. David Bena. Scrivner has four previous credits for the series, including this season’s “Reality Kills”. Bena co-wrote season eight’s “Meltdown”.

The following actors and actresses will appear in guest-starring roles:

  • Christian Clemenson as Dr. Tom Loman
  • Richmond Arquette as Marvin Hill
  • Darby Stanchfield as Linda Hill
  • Spencer Daniels as Nick West
  • Skyler Day as Ashley Chandler
  • Michael McGrady as Larry Chandler
  • Karen Young as Diana Chandler
  • Corey Eid as Justin Carson
  • Natalie Knepp as Rachel Brooks
  • Darin Brooks as Ian Kaufman
  • Scott Allen Rinker as Chris

Christian Clemenson is reprising his role as coroner Dr Tom Loman. Michael McGrady played a detective in two episodes during Miami’s first season: “Golden Parachute” and “Camp Fear”. Darby Stanchfield was in the CSI: NY episode “It Happened to Me” during season six.

“Man Up”, “To What End?” and “F-T-F” begin airing January 6 on CBS.
