‘Miami’ Takes Second Behind Football

1 min read

The third episode of Miami’s ninth season came in second place on Sunday, October 17. “See No Evil” pulled in 10.97 million viewers, marking a significant improvement over the previous episode (which was pushed back due to football). The ratings for the latest episode were down more than a million from the season premiere, but it was still enough to keep Miami in second place behind Sunday Night Football on NBC, which had an average of 15.81 million viewers for the 10:00pm hour. Brothers & Sisters was number three with 8.96 million viewers, and the 10:00pm portion of game two in the National League Championship Series pulled in 6.45 million viewers on Fox to come in fourth for the hour. In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, Sunday Night Football was first with a 6.4 rating/17 share at 10:00pm, followed by Miami (2.7/7), Brothers & Sisters (2.7/7) and game two with 2.1/5.
