3 min read

Following CSI: Crime Scene Investigation‘s finale last Thursday, CSI: Miami and CSI: New York end the season this week. Both episodes offer cliffhanger endings that will bring viewers back next fall to find out the fate of their favorite characters. Official plot details and cast lists after the jump.

Starting out the week on Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT, they “All Fall Down”, but someone from the CSI: Miami team might not get back up next season:

A serial killer taunts the CSIs by leaving them cryptic hints, and the longer it takes them to decode these puzzles, the higher the death toll rises.

Joe Chappelle directed 25 previous episodes of Miami. He most recently helmed the season seven finale, “Seeing Red”. Barry O’Brien co-wrote the episode with Marc Dube. O’Brien has 17 writing credits for the show, including “LA” from earlier this year. This is the twenty-seventh time Dube has penned an episode. His most recent credit was for this season’s “Dishonor”.

The episode will feature the following actors and actresses in guest-starring roles:

  • Christian Clemenson as Tom Loman
  • Justine Eyre as Janice Potter
  • J.R. Cacia as Craig Potter
  • Abby McCoy as Daria Potter
  • Emma McCoy as Daria Potter
  • Kristen Hager as Melissa Walls
  • Jim Vickers as Neal Brusatti
  • Esai Morales as Stephen Madsen
  • Roger Bart as Bob Starling
  • Mary Alyce Kania as CSI Tech
  • Abhi Sinha as Undergrad Test Subject
  • Gina St. John as Reporter #1

Christian Clemenson is reprising his established role as coroner Dr Tom Loman. Mary Alyce Kania played a CSI tech in “Count Me Out” earlier this season. J.R. Cacia was in the CSI: New York episode “Enough” during the show’s fifth season. Gina St. John played a reporter in two episodes of New York (“Not What It Looks Like” and “Snow Day” during season three). The other actors are new to the franchise.

On Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, CSI: New York ends the season with a “Vacation Getaway” that takes a dangerous turn:

The CSIs follow a trail left by Shane Casey and realize that he is targeting Danny, who is vacationing out of town with Lindsay and their daughter.

This is the seventh time Duane Clark has directed for New York, and his credits include “Blacklist” from earlier this season. “Vacation Getaway” was penned by co-executive producers Trey Callaway and Zachary Reiter. Callaway has nine credits for the show, most recently for this year’s “Pot of Gold”, and Reiter has 20 including “Uncertainty Rules”.

The following guest stars will appear in the episode:

  • Edward Furlong as Shane Casey
  • Danny Nucci as Officer Nicholas Henderson
  • Adam John Harrington as Officer Noonan
  • Jules Willcox as Curator
  • Ashley Dyke as Angela Isley
  • Jim Sharp as Ethan Ganz

Edward Furlong is back as serial killer Shane Casey, who was last seen escaping from prison in “Redemptio” last month. The other actors are new to the franchise.

Rounding out the week on Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation gets the hiatus underway with a repeat of the season ten premiere, “Family Affair”. Sara Sidle returned to the lab as the team investigated the suspicious death of a young actress.

“All Fall Down”, “Vacation Getaway” and the repeat of “Family Affair” begin airing May 24 on CBS.
