Veasey: A Special Episode Is Planned For Stella

Things are going to get personal for several CSI: New York characters as season six rolls on. (Spoilers after the jump!)

Executive producer Pam Veasey promised that New York‘s leading lady Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) has a personal storyline on the way. “A very special episode for Stella is planned,” Veasey told Fancast. “She will connect with a mother in search of her son’s killer.” As for the rumoured romance for Dr Sheldon Hawkes that Hill Harper mentioned in his last interview with CSI Files, Veasey indicated that the CSI would get a love interest “soon”.

When St Patrick’s Day rolls around, fans can expect to see a festive outing of CSI: NY. According to MegaBuzz, the themed episode will feature the introduction of Mädchen Amick‘s character, an emergency room doctor who becomes a love interest for Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise). Beverly Hills, 90210 actor Ian Ziering will also make an appearance in the episode, which will find the team investigating a double homicide that is tied to gold fraud—with a gold ingot as the murder weapon.
