Season One DVD Set Out Today

'CSI' Season One DVD set - courtesy Amazon.com, copyright Paramount Home EntertainmentParamount Home Entertainment will release CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's first season on DVD in North America today.

The package contains all 23 episodes from the show's inaugural season across six discs, according to online retailer Amazon.com. The episodes are presented in full screen ratio with English and Spanish Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtracks.

CSI's ground-breaking first season contains many of the show's most memorable instalments, including two episodes featuring Grissom's nemesis, Paul Milander ("Pilot", "Anonymous"), the chilling story of a murder on an airplane, "Unfriendly Skies", "Evaluation Day", in which Grissom must cast a critical eye over his team, and the season finale, "The Strip Strangler".

The DVD set will also contain several exclusive extra features. These include the featurette "People Lie...But Evidence Does Not", profiles of the regular CSI characters and the "Who Are You?" music video.
