After CSI: New York was dropped from the schedule last Wednesday to avoid competition with FOX's baseball coverage, all three incarnations of the forensic series will be showing all-new episodes this week.

As befits Halloween week, the Miami CSIs will be experiencing a "Hell Night" at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25. The official synopsis of the episode can be found below, courtesy of The Futon Critic:

The wife of a famous Miami baseball player is brutally killed in her home and her philandering husband is charged with the crime. The jury on the case, as well as the accused and his defense, visits the house to examine the crime scene, but when the lights are dimmed, as they were when the victim was killed, and then turned back on, the ball player is found dead with a meat clever in his back and a note that says "guilty." Now, as Horatio and the team find that the husband's defense team tampered with the crime scene, they must examine the evidence to find the couple's killers.

The episode was directed by CSI: Miami's associate producer Scott Lautanen, who helmed "Under the Influence" earlier this season. The script was penned by supervising producer Steven Maeda and story editor Corey Miller.

The episode was written by Zachary Reiter, previously of Skin, and directed by Kevin Bray, who helmed the recent feature film Walking Tall. Here's what CBS had to say about the episode:

Mac and Aiden investigate the murder of an up-and-coming hip-hop artist who was stabbed to death shortly after being crowned the winner of a DJ contest and days after signing on with a new label. As the CSIs track down clues surrounding the murder of DJ Banner, they learn that he signed a record contract a few days before his death with hip-hop mogul Kevin Vick, who they question. Meanwhile, Stella and Danny investigate the death of a fashion designer who was found in her penthouse pool. The case leads them to a sushi restaurant that specializes in food served on nude models.

The CSI team investigates a murder victim found floating in a gated community fountain after attending a neighborhood swingers party. The evidence reveals that the victim had sex with multiple partners, which helps the CSIs track down the crime scene to a neighbor's backyard. Meanwhile, Warrick and Nick investigate the bloody murder of a video arcade landlord. Also, Catherine justifies why she is a good candidate to be the supervisor on the day shift.

"Swap Meet" was penned by three CSI scribes: David Rambo ("Butterflied") and executive producers Naren Shankar and Carol Mendelsohn. Fellow executive producer and regular director Danny Cannon ("Pilot") helmed the episode.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
