SpikeTV To Air 'CSI' Marathon Next Week

SpikeTV recently announced it's planning to air a five-day CSI: Crime Scene Investigation marathon, starting Monday the 21st of March.

This will be the second CSI marathon to air on Spike, after it kicked off its 7:00pm and 8:00pm CSI repeats with a five-day long, 18-hour-a-day marathon in September (story). That marathon led to Spike winning its best-ever full-day ratings, as CSI managed to draw an average of 2.29 million viewers throughout the day. This time around, Spike will only be showing nine episodes a day, enabling it to air the entire third and fourth seasons of the show.

The Spike marathon comes at a good time for CSI fans, as CBS has pre-empted the show for two weeks in favour of March Madness, the annual college basketball tournament. CSI will return to CBS again on Thursday the 31st of March, when the network is planning to air the new episode "Spark of Life."

The full schedule for the Spike marathon is as follows:

The marathon will conclude on Friday at 10:00pm with a special airing of "Lady Heather's Box," the 90-minute CSI episode that was produced during the show's third season. Spike's own CSI site can be found by following this link.
