'Inside The Box' image - copyright CBS CBS Thursday night premiered the promo for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's third-season finale, entitled "Inside The Box".

In the episode, the CSIs investigate the theft of a safety deposit box during a violent bank robbery which kills someone close to the team. Also, Grissom finally decides to do something about his hearing problem.

The 30-second trailer for the episode can be found at the official CBS web site. For those of you with slower connections, here's a transcript:

CBS THURSDAY

[Close-up of a robber's face in a balaclava.]
[The bank robber readies his weapon.]
[The robbers burst out of the back of a van.]

NO MATTER HOW MANY CRIMES CSI HAS SOLVED

[Nick mimics taking aim with a rifle.]
[Warrick picks up a shoe and examines it.]
[CSIs study a fingerprint on a computer screen.]
[Large fingerprint graphic.]
[Shot of a weapon being fired upwards in the bank.]
[Customers scream and fall to the floor as shots ring out.]
[A mother looks around as she protects her child.]
[A bank robber barks orders as he holds his weapon aloft.]
Robber: "Everyone up against the glass now!"
[The customers rush across the bank to the glass windows.]

NOTHING CAN PREPARE THEM FOR THIS CASE

[Warrick examines the crime scene with his torch.]
[Catherine turns around from the computer screen.]
[Nick dusts off fingerprints.]
[Grissom crosses under the yellow tape outside the crime scene.]
[A man lies dead on the floor of the bank, with Brass and David Phillips crouched over him. Catherine approaches.]
Catherine: "How much did they get?"
[Brass stands in front of the tellers' positions.]
Brass: "They weren't interested in money."
[Grissom stands together with Catherine.]
Catherine: "What were they interested in?"

THIS IS THE SEASON FINALE YOU CAN'T MISS

[Split screen: Various images of forensic processes: dusting for fingerprints, red lasers out of gun barrels, Grissom looking closely at the evidence, etc.]
[The camera tracks alongside the safety deposit boxes in the bank vault.]
[A bank robber prepares to detonate a bomb.]
[One of the deposit boxes explodes, destroying the vault.]
[Catherine confronts Greg Sanders in the lab.]
Catherine: "You know what off the record means, don't you Greg?"

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
