  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) will visit The Early Show and Live With Regis And Kelly on April 2.

  • Keith R A DeCandido will receive the Grandmaster Award at the 2009 Scribe Awards presented by the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers (IAMTW). The award recognizes a writer for extensive, exceptional work in the field of tie-in novels. DeCandido's work includes the CSI: New York tie-in Four Walls. (Source)

  • The CSI tie-in Headhunter by Greg Cox has been nominated for a Scribe Award in the category "Best General Fiction Original". The 2009 Scribe Awards will be presented at Comic-Con in San Diego this July. (For source, see previous IAMTW item.)

  • New York star AJ Buckley (Adam Ross) has appeared on the CW series Supernatural as one of the "Ghostfacers", a group of amateur ghost hunters who provide comic relief. According to Eclipse Magazine, the website featured in Buckley's latest episode of Supernatural, www.Ghostfacers.com, has been launched as a fully functional site for fans of the show to visit.

  • Jeff Mariotte has an upcoming CSI novel that will be released in the fall called Brass in Pocket. (Sources: Comic Book Resources and JeffMariotte.com)

  • The new PrimeTime2Go mobile service will allow BlackBerry users to watch full episodes of popular TV shows such as the CSI franchise on their BlackBerry devices. The service will be available starting in May for a monthly fee of $7.99.

  • Carmine Giovinazzo (CSI: NY's Danny Messer) will attend the "Celebrity Party" at the 2009 SINY Film Fest in Staten Island, New York June 5. (Source)

    CSI: Miami's Eva La Rue (Natalia Boa Vista) told Watch With Kristin what fans can expect from the end of the season:

    "All of the Russian mob stuff that they've been building in the last few episodes is going to come to a head. They've seemed to be picking off one member of the team at a time, and they're trying to kind of break everybody up so they can take them all down. So we're going to see how that plays out in the last three episodes."

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
