NCIS: LA, NCIS, NCIS: NOLA, Criminal Minds and CSI: Cyber

CSI: Cyber has two new episodes on the schedule this week. NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans and Criminal Minds are airing new installments as well.

NCIS: Los Angeles kicks off the week with “Revenge Deferred” tonight at 9:59pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode synopsis (more information here):

After extensive surveillance footage of Sam’s family is found in Africa, Sam and Callen fly there to determine who is responsible and for what purpose. Also, Sam’s family is moved from their home to a safe house.

NCIS will air “After Hours” on Tuesday at 8:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

The NCIS agents’ personal plans are interrupted when each of them catches errors in a seemingly cut-and-dried closed case. Also, McGee and Delilah (Margo Harshman) argue over the importance of not discussing work during dinner, while DiNozzo bores his date with shop talk.

NCIS: NOLA will follow at 9:00pm ET/PT on Tuesday. Here’s the description for “Radio Silence” (more information here):

The NCIS team protects a local DJ from a threatening perpetrator and investigates the murder of a Navy Captain who was attacked while on-air with the radio show. Also, Pride’s daughter, Laurel (Shanley Caswell), returns home to discuss her future plans.

On Wednesday, Criminal Minds offers “Derek” at 9:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the episode description (more information here):

As CSI Files previously reported, CSI: Cyber is airing on a special night and time this week, following Criminal Minds at 10:00pm ET/PT on Wednesday. This is the first of two new episodes on the schedule this week, and “Python’s Revenge” marks the fifteenth episode of the show’s second season. First, here’s the promo:

And here’s the synopsis, followed by the official details:

Cyber’s most notorious criminal, Python, returns to kidnap Avery’s surrogate daughter, making the team decipher a series of elaborate code-like puzzles in an attempt to save her life.

Co-Executive Producer Vikki Williams directed the episode, which marks her first credit for CSI: Cyber; however, she helmed three episodes of CSI: New York (where she also worked as a Co-Executive Producer), most recently “2,918 Miles” during the show’s ninth season. “Python’s Revenge” was penned by producer Devon Greggory; he has two previous writing credits, including the teleplay for “Fit-and-Run” from earlier this month.

Alisha Boe and Sean Blakemore are reprising established recurring roles; Boe was previously seen in “hack E.R.” and “iWitness”, while Blakemore guest-starred in “Gone in 6 Seconds” and “404: Flight Not Found”. Diogo Morgado and Evan Jones first appeared in “Python” earlier this season. The other actors are new to the franchise.


On Saturday, CBS will air a repeat of NCIS: LA at 8:00pm ET/PT. Here’s the description for “Black Budget”:

Callen and Sam head to Mexico to track down the only employee who managed to escape a professional shooting at the Department of Defense. Meanwhile, the rest of the team works to uncover the motive behind the shooting.


Finally, the sixteenth episode of CSI: Cyber’s second season airs in its usual timeslot, on Sunday at 10:00pm ET/PT. We’ll share the promo for “5 Deadly Sins” when it becomes available, but here is the synopsis, followed by the official details:

The Cyber team tracks a vigilante who is killing the biggest offenders of objectionable posts on social media websites.

Director Rob Bailey previously helmed “The Evil Twin” during season one. “5 Deadly Sins” was penned by Supervising Producer Matt Whitney, whose four previous writing credits include “Gone in 6 Seconds” from earlier this season.

Gregg Henry is back as Calvin Mundo, Elijah Mundo’s (James Van Der Beek) father, who was first seen in “Red Crone” earlier this season. Molly Burnett previously appeared in “Why-Fi” and “Shades of Grey”. Sean Blakemore returns as FBI Director Silver in “5 Deadly Sins”, after guest-starring in “Python’s Revenge” earlier in the week. Neil Hopkins has appeared on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (“4 x 4”), CSI: Miami (“Hunting Ground”) and CSI: New York (“The Triangle”). Greg Winter was in the Miami episode “Dude, Where’s My Groom?” during the show’s eighth season. The other actors are new to the franchise.
