Fans get a look behind the scenes.
On November 15, the very first issue of the Official CSI Magazine will be released by the Titan Publishing Group. The issues will cycle between CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami and CSI: New York. The premiere collector's first edition will focus on the original CSI and give fans access to exclusive content.
Show creator Anthony Zuiker provides an introduction in the first issue. The magazine will also contain exclusive interviews with William Petersen (Gil Grissom), Paul Guilfoyle (Jim Brass), Robert David Hall (Doc Robbins), Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) and George Eads (Nick Stokes). Eads will even spill the beans on a steamy scene between his character and Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) that was cut from the show's pilot episode.
The premiere issue of the Official CSI Magazine will also contain other exclusive features. Oscar-winning special effects make-up expert Matthew W Mungle takes readers behind the scenes to see how some of the show's special effects are created. Richard J. Lewis, long-time director and producer, gives a glimpse into the production team. The magazine will also take a look at the Las Vegas as it is presented on CSI versus what the city is really like by presenting ten things the average reader doesn't know about Las Vegas. The Official CSI Magazine will also share the latest CSI news, information on "CSI: The Experience", real CSI work, weird science and more.
