Apple launches the iPad today, April 3. CBS is offering content for the new device, including clips of hit shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i>, Two and a Half Men<\/i> and NCIS<\/i>. The network will also offer full episodes of Survivor<\/i> to iPad users, and the full CBS library on iTunes will be available for purchase on the device.<\/p>\n
\n“It was important for us to have content available for the iPad at launch, and it will be important to continue to develop new content as the device goes mainstream,” CBS Interactive President Neil Ashe<\/b> said. “Doing so is consistent with CBS’s larger strategy to put our content on the best available screen, with the best available business model. We look forward to improving and expanding our offerings for the iPad in the months to come.”<\/p>\n
