Wow, it&#8217;s almost 10 years later!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\n<!--more-->&#8220;The set medic is the first one in and the last out,&#8221; Stevens explained. &#8220;We&#8217;re here for the cast and crew &#8211; everything from Bayer Aspirin to heart attacks.&#8221; The medic cart is a popular place for cast and crew to spend downtime on the set. &#8220;People hang out and talk to the medic (seeking advice) like they would to a bartender,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>\nSeveral years ago, Stevens started stepping in front of the camera to play a paramedic. He&#8217;s appeared in five episodes of <i>CSI<\/i>, most recently last season&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season9\/the_gone_dead_train.shtml\">&#8220;The Gone Dead Train&#8221;<\/a>, as well as the <I>CSI: New York<\/i> episode <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/newyork\/season4\/buzzkill.shtml\">&#8220;Buzzkill&#8221;<\/a>.
