Set medic Jeffrey D Stevens<\/b> has been working full time for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> since the show began in 2000. “I thought it would be great,” he shared. “I’d use it as a filler until my next movie came up. Wow, it’s almost 10 years later!”<\/p>\n
\n“The set medic is the first one in and the last out,” Stevens explained. “We’re here for the cast and crew – everything from Bayer Aspirin to heart attacks.” The medic cart is a popular place for cast and crew to spend downtime on the set. “People hang out and talk to the medic (seeking advice) like they would to a bartender,” he said.<\/p>\n
\nSeveral years ago, Stevens started stepping in front of the camera to play a paramedic. He’s appeared in five episodes of CSI<\/i>, most recently last season’s “The Gone Dead Train”<\/a>, as well as the CSI: New York<\/i> episode “Buzzkill”<\/a>.
