The network is also adding <b>Jennifer Esposito<\/b> (<i>Blue Bloods<\/i>) to the cast as a series regular. According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbspressexpress.com\/cbs-entertainment\/shows\/ncis\/releases\/view?id=45660\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">official press release<\/a>, Esposito will play NCIS Special Agent Alexandra &#8220;Alex&#8221; Quinn, a former field agent who became an instructor at the Law Enforcement Training Center. Leroy Jethro Gibbs (<b>Mark Harmon<\/b>) convinces her to return to the field and join his team, taking advantage of &#8220;her sharp wit, quick mind and immense talent as a federal agent.&#8221; Here&#8217;s a quote from Executive Producer <b>Gary Glasberg<\/b>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We couldn\u2019t be happier to have Jennifer Esposito joining us for season 14. She embodies everything that we hoped for in the character of Quinn and we can\u2019t wait to have her come be a part of our team.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\nHenry and Esposito will be joined by fellow <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/2016\/06\/wilmer-valderrama-joins-ncis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">newcomer<\/a> <b>Wilmer Valderrama<\/b> during season 14, bringing the total of new series regulars up to three.
