CSI: Cyber<\/i> Executive Producer Pam Veasey<\/b> spoke to TV Guide<\/a> about what is in store for season two. At the end of the season one finale, “Family Secrets”<\/a>, it was revealed that Daniel Krumitz’s (Charley Koontz<\/b>) sister Francine (Angela Trimbur<\/b>) shot Taylor Pettis (Deron Paul<\/b>), the man who killed their parents. The new season picks up at the end of Francine’s trial, and the verdict will have an ongoing effect on her brother. “Krumitz makes a promise to her that will dictate how he behaves the rest of the season,” Veasey revealed.<\/p>\n

\nVeasey also indicated that Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette<\/b>) will work to rebuild her relationship with her ex-husband Andrew Michaels (Brent Sexton<\/b>), although matters are complicated by the nightmares she’s experiencing due to the events from last season. Ryan will also have to deal with the addition<\/a> of Ted Danson<\/b> (DB Russell) to the team, as well as the departure<\/a> of her boss, Simon Sifter (Peter MacNicol<\/b>)—which offers her a chance to change her career path:<\/p>\n

She has an opportunity to take his job, but it’s not something she quickly embraces. It means different things for her job. She sees that Sifter’s job involved a lot of dealing with the brass and the politics of cyber.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nWhile promoting Fargo<\/i> at the 2015 TV summer press tour, Danson spoke to Zap2It<\/a> about joining the cast of Cyber<\/i> following the series finale of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i>. “I love to work. I’m off to do CSI: Cyber<\/i> and I’m really looking forward to it,” he said. “I get to work with Patricia and James<\/b> [Van Der Beek<\/b>] and Peter<\/b> [MacNicol<\/b>], a bunch of really interesting folks.”<\/p>\n
