\nAs CSI Files previously reported<\/a>, today marks the first day of shooting for the series finale of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i>. The two-hour TV movie is divided up into two episodes, titled “Immortality, Part 1” and “Immortality, Part 2”. CSI<\/i> creator (and finale writer) Anthony Zuiker<\/b> previously described<\/a> the finale as “a love letter to the fans.” He also said there is “a complicated and rich case that brings all of our people back together, and has a very satisfactory conclusion that life will go on.”<\/p>\n \nOriginal leads Marg Helgenberger<\/b> (Catherine Willows) and William Petersen<\/b> (Gil Grissom) are back<\/a> for the finale, along with<\/a> former star Paul Guilfoyle<\/b> (Jim Brass). George Eads<\/b> (Nick Stokes) and Elisabeth Shue<\/b> (Julie Finlay) will not appear in the series-ending storyline, but Melinda Clarke<\/b> is set to reprise her role as the infamous Lady Heather.
